Homespun - Each piece is unique and beautifully hand-crafted.

Size Range - 19” × 19” to 20” x 21 ½”

Origin - French

Circa - Early 1900s

A combination of a selvage edge and raw edge.

I love sourcing beautiful vintage textiles. They have stood the test of time and continue to perform well.

These versatile linens were once used to protect foods, clothing, aprons, bedding, table linens, wagon covers, etc.

Launders beautifully

*Snipping of threads is sometimes needed to maintain the raw edge.

Care - Use a mild detergent and gentle machine cycle on cold or lukewarm, tumble dry low heat, remove while still damp, and hang to dry.

Personal preference - Hand wash

Weather Permitting - Hang to Air Dry Outside

I can not say enough about my love of homespun French linens. I love the story behind them, the feel of the fabric in my hand, and the organic texture they bring to my home. I use them daily as tea towels, table napkins, powder room hand towels, to line a bread basket, to give texture to my gatherings and food tables, to wrap around a wine bottle or carafe, and so much more.

You will want this piece in multiple to keep on hand.
